How to deal with a loved one who is incarcerated

It is very difficult to have a family or loved one incarcerated. The more contact with the outside world the better someone adjusts to living in prison. Visits are a very good way to keep contact with the person. This can be done thru video visiting or in person. Each prison has its own rules about dress and what can be brought in. consult those rules prior to your visit. Letters and phone calls also can lift the spirits of those locked up. Ohio prisons allow inmates to have monitored email accounts for less than the cost of a stamp.
